Mitch is an associate in the Mahoney Lawyers commercial litigation team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws (Hons) - Queensland University of Technology - 2010
- Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice - College of Law - 2010
After graduating with honours and completing a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, Mitch was admitted as a lawyer in 2010. He is also admitted as a lawyer of the High Court of Australia.
Experience and Services
Mitch joined the firm in 2009 and since this time has practised exclusively in commercial litigation.
He has acted for and advised:
- liquidators and trustees on a wide range of complex insolvency issues
- a large property development company conducting litigation against groups of defaulting buyers in the wake of the global financial crisis
- national corporations, small and medium-sized businesses in respect of trade practices claims brought against them
- bodies corporate in the recovery of outstanding special levies which were the subject of negligence set off counterclaims
Interests
Despite work commitments, Mitch finds the time to play competitive football, futsal and fit in a regular game of golf. He is also an avid follower of the English Premier League.
